Visit to the Biltmore
One thing that I have been wanting to do for a really long time is visit this place. We have lived in the Carolinas for 10 years and have not ventured to far outside of our “bubble.” I don’t know why. I think it’s just because I truly love being home. I am a total homebody, but I love the thought of adventure and wandering freely. I honestly think the reason I don’t get out more is because reality never matches up to the image I have painted in my head… Like, In my head these adventures involve well behaved kids, great weather and no bugs. But reality is that I am stressed out 90% of the time, it’s usually HOT as heck and everyone is complaining of all the bug bites they are getting… do you all know what I mean?
Well, I have learned that I need to face reality and take on these adventures head on… Regardless of the whining, hot weather and multiple bug bites, we had a great time!
We left the house at 7am and made it back by 10pm. Talk about a long exhausting day, but the memories we made are priceless. Here are some of my favorite images from our trip to the Biltmore!
