Personalized Outdoor Senior Portraits for Fort Mill, Indian Land, Tega Cay, Rock Hill & Greater Charlotte

Your senior year only happens once.

And your portraits should feel like you — not like a generic school photo, not like every other senior portrait you've seen scroll by on Instagram. YOU. Your personality, your style, your confidence, your story.

I'm Erika Holifield, Fort Mill's premier senior portrait photographer, and I've been photographing high school seniors throughout York County, SC and the greater Charlotte, NC area for over 15 years. Every session I create is built entirely around one person — your senior — from location to outfit planning to every moment in between.

If you're a rising senior in Fort Mill, Indian Land, Tega Cay, Rock Hill, Waxhaw, Ballantyne, South Charlotte, or anywhere across the Charlotte area — I'd love to be your photographer!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you include hair and make-up in your packages?

I don’t include hair and makeup in my senior packages because I believe in giving you the freedom to choose a stylist who matches your personal style and comfort level. That said, professional hair and makeup is highly recommended—it adds polish, confidence, and that little extra glow that truly shines on camera. To make the process easy, I’ll provide you with a list of talented artists I trust and love working with. You’re welcome to book one of them or bring in your own favorite—either way, I want you to feel like you, just a little more elevated.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don’t know how to pose? I’m so awkward in front of the camera!

Don’t worry at all—that’s exactly what I’m here for! You don’t need to know how to pose or do anything special. I’ll coach you through every step of the way with natural, flattering direction that helps you feel confident and relaxed. We’ll have fun, and I promise you’ll walk away feeling like a total pro!

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if the weather is unfavorable for an outdoor shoot?

I always keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session! If it's raining or there's severe weather, we’ll reschedule—no problem. Your experience matters, and I want to make sure you get beautiful lighting and feel comfortable throughout the shoot.

That said, cloudy days are totally okay (and actually amazing for photos!). Overcast skies create soft, even light that’s super flattering for skin tones and perfect for capturing mood and emotion. So if it’s just cloudy, we’ll move forward as planned—you might be surprised by how gorgeous those images turn out!
